Sweet Kelly was born February of 2014. Her diagnoses are strabismus, deformity of ears and developmental delay. Kelly’s information is from November, 2019. Kelly is closest to her foster mom and teacher at the SWI. She gets along well with the teachers and caretakers. She is missing her right auricle and her left ear is deformed causing poor hearing. She has a hearing aid, but does not like to wear it. She is able to understand a little bit when the teacher is talking and gesturing. She likes to play with plush toys and play games. She dances and wiggles her body to music. She can walk freely. Because of her poor hearing, she does not speak clearly. Sometimes she responds to sounds. I believe this little one just needs some medical intervention to help her overcome many of her issues with speech and hearing.
