Wasatch International Adoptions is licensed child placing agency in the State of Utah and provides international adoption programs, birth mother counseling, and domestic adoption assistance. WIA is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we are COA/Hague accredited.

Who We Are
Since 1992, Kathleen Kaiser, our Executive Director, has been actively involved in international adoption. Her experience with adoption, coupled with her desire to provide affordable and honest international adoptions programs has made Wasatch International Adoptions what it is today. Kathy Kaiser retired as Executive Director in March of 2024.
Our Staff of Professionals
All those working for WIA, both our office staff and our foreign agents, are caring, experienced and professional. Every adoptive family works directly with one of our Program Managers and our entire team is available to answer questions throughout the adoption process. Our staff is knowledgeable and committed to all of WIA’s programs and the families and children we represent.

Board of Directors
Wasatch International Adoptions is governed by an active Board of Directors which is devoted to helping children and strengthening families. The Board consists of medical and business professionals and adoptive parents who work as volunteers to oversee the agency’s finances, policies and practices. Their expertise and experience lend a solid base to the goals and administration of Wasatch International Adoptions.
**Note: Upon request, WIA will disclose the following: Service policy Contracts, the number of adoption placements per year for the prior 3 calendar years, the number of placements that remain intact, the number of families who apply to adopt each year, and the number of waiting children eligible for adoption.
