Sweet Shannon was born in July of 2014. Her diagnoses is torticollis, protrusion of left anterior chest, swelling of left lower limb and hemangioma. We have photos of her condition upon request. An update from May of 2018 says that Shannon has made rapid progress in language development in the past half year. She already says many words such as auntie, sister, teacher, thank you, don’t, shoes. The sound is crisp, the pronunciation is clear, the language ability is strong, and the instructions of others can be understood. She can communicate in a simple language with people. Shannon has not had any surgery for her issues. Her overall development is better. With the help of special education, social workers and other professionals, psychological and cognitive development, she has made gratifying progress. Shannon can communicate with peers in language, eyes and body language. She understands common animals, plants, basic object shapes (circular, square, triangle), colors (red, white, black, green), can count 1-10, can stand on one foot, jump on both feet, run, and go up and down stairs independently. She attends Kindergarten in the SWI. Her personality is much more cheerful and her face is always full of smiles.
