Pretty Vanessa needs a family soon. She has already spent much of her 8 years in an orphanage. Vanessa was born August, 2012. Her special need is listed as congenital heart disease and hearing disorder. Vanessa’s information is from 2018 and says the following: Vanessa has undergone cardiac surgery (VSD/ASD) at the Provincial Children’s Hospital at the age of 1. In March of 2018, the color Doppler ultrasound showed mitral, tricuspid Pulmonary valve regurgitation. At present, it has no effect on her daily life. She does not show signs of bruising or edema from the heart condition.
Vanessa is considered to be a gentle and well-behaved child although sometimes she is naughty or impatient. She is also entertaining She likes playing with building blocks, listening to short stories and feeling the rhythm of music. Occasionally she creates her own “dance” with music. She like watching cartoons of Peppa Pig. She doesn’t speak much but will call Aunt or Mother. She makes a chirping and humming sound to express her meaning. Vanessa is able to put on a t-shirt however she doesn’t know front from back. The staff have been working on potty training and now Vanessa can express that she needs to go to the bathroom to urinate. Vanessa needs a special family who can help her reach her full potential.
