This precious boy is Peterson. Sweet Peterson was born May of 2022 and is diagnosed with many medical issues and is fed with a feeding tube. According to our staff member that met him, apart from the teacher’s periodic activities with the child, no other specialists work with him. The department is for children with severe diagnoses and the need for constant medical care. There are a lot of children being accommodated there and the staff is insufficient to be able to give the necessary, needed individual attention to each child.
Our staff member also said that Peterson is a very fragile, little boy who needs a lot of attention, caresses, cuddles, activities, love, and also a lot of care and patience. The child needs a very supportive and above all loving family environment. He needs a family that could provide him with the necessary professionals to alleviate and help his condition and development.
This little guy needs a family very familiar with medically fragile children. We would love to find Peterson a good home where he is not left in a bed all day. Grant funding is available for qualifying families. Please contact kathy@wiaa.org for all medical information.
