Nicolas is a handsome 10 year old Hispanic boy adopted from the foster care system in the US.  He is in 5th grade.  Nicholas is smart, on target developmentally, and liked by all his teachers and friends and his teachers seem to give him any help he needs.  He is good in school, yet struggles a little bit with math, mainly because he seems to be in too much of a hurry to get problems worked accurately. His teachers say he is a model child.  He is in a reading program where he mentors younger readers. Nicholas loves to read and is just finishing the Warrior series which is a set of books about a clan of wild cats.

He loves pets and has participated in projects where he fed baby kittens with a bottle.  He is good with little children, so it is through perhaps he would be successful in a home with one or two younger children.

He is described as being compassionate, generous and sweet. He has not harmed anyone.  He is not aggressive but is outgoing and fun to be with. He has an excellent memory and only needs to see something once or twice to have it memorized.

Right now he is the youngest in the home. There is a sister age 12 and brother age 14 who are both biological children in the home.  He tends to aggravate his sister, but she and he still enjoy playing outdoors.  He gets along fine with his brother.

Nicholas’s current family feels that Nicholas might do better in a less structured more relaxed environment.  Please email us back if you would like to see copies of this child’s additional records and learn more about him. Email [email protected]
