Kyle has recently turned age 8 and was originally adopted from Asia in December of 2011 at age 5, almost 6.  Initially, he did well in his new home, but last summer, the family was dealing with the trauma of another child they adopted.  They ended up having to dissolve that adoption, and things went downhill, so sadly the family is in the situation of now dissolving Kyle’s adoption.

Kyle likes school and is well-liked by his teacher and other children. He is in second grade. His academics improved dramatically with his going on Focalin in December.

Kyle is good with pets, likes quiet activities like reading and board games.  He also participates in Tai Kwon Do.

It is believed Kyle would do well in a new home with a family who has probably previously adopted and is familiar with post orphanage behavior.

Due to the state laws, we are not able to place him in NY, CO, IL, CT, MA, or DE.  If you would like to receive additional information on him, please contact us at [email protected]

This is a private adoption, so a state or foster homestudy would not work. A private domestic or international homestudy would be required. There are no subsidies with this adoption.

Adoption is a legal process so costs and travel to his state to bring him home.  This adoption qualifies for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
