Please take a few minutes to read about this cute guy. Ethan was born February of 2015. Ethan is diagnosed with arthrogryposis, pitosis of eyelid, non-verbal and mental delay. Our Bulgarian staff who met Ethan September of 2023 said the following:
Ethan pleasantly surprised me. He is sociable in his (non-verbal) way, easy to contact, extremely mobile and creative with toys. He plays purposefully with a toy for extended periods of time, even modifying it or changing his play. He has a good and long purposeful attention! He can dress and undress by himself. He goes to the bathroom by himself, eats by himself and can fold his clothes. Ethan is very mobile and can stand up, sit down, lie down, turn around etc. Ethan is inquisitive and understands very well when spoken to. He is very smart and knows a lot of what things are for or how to use them. He attends school and is also enrolled in a swimming program. He loves individual attention and being involved in anything new. He is not shy. We have a lot more information about Ethan we would be happy to share! Please contact kathy@wiaa.org. You will be asked to fill out a parent form before any medical information is shared.
