***UPDATE***
We just received an update for this sweetie, Eden. She was born July of 2014 and is diagnosed with congenital anomaly of the bones of the skull and face and cerebral palsy. Her diagnoses also include spastic quadriparesis, localized epilepsy and mental delay.
The new information from January 2024 says the following:
Eden is a cute little girl who needs patience, attention, care and most of all love. She is extremely mobile and seeks and loves attention. Eden definitely needs a loving and extremely supportive family that would provide her with lots of attention, individual activities, stimulation, hugs, interactions, and more adequate, systematic and targeted activities with specialists.
Eden can be a picky eater at times. She does not show any interest in feeding herself. She is on a GERD diet due to Gastroesophageal reflux disease. She likes to be bathed but does not like her teeth brushed. Eden can go up and down stairs with assistance. She is extremely mobile. She moves on her own by crawling on all fours, walking only on her knees or using a special walker. She can walk with her hand held, albeit slightly unsteadily. She can go from a lying position to a standing to a sitting position without support. She gets upset in the absence of attention. Darkness and lout noises do not scare her.
Eden does not have a favorite toy or activity. In general she likes to knock, stomp and push. She often tries to put toys in her mouth. With stimulation, she can be encouraged to follow or reach for a specific toy. While she does not appear to listen to music and television, she will sometimes smile when children’s songs are being played
Eden does not show aggression, rather, at times, auto-aggressive manifestations are observed in the form of banging and hitting her head. She calms down relatively quickly, if attention is paid to her. She high-fives and claps her hands when encouraged. Her sleep is rather restless.
According to the staff at the home, Eden will have no problem with adaptation in an unfamiliar environment with a foreign family! If a very active rehabilitation is provided, there is a quiet good chance that she starts walking by herself.

Please meet another new sweetie named Eden. She was born July of 2014 and is diagnosed with congenital anomaly of the bones of the skull and face and cerebral palsy. Her diagnoses also include spastic quadriparesis, localized epilepsy and mental delay. Our Bulgarian staff will be meeting her very soon and will provide us with updated information and new videos. We will post this as soon as we have it.
Eden crawls on her hands and knees on her own. She can get up from the floor using furniture for support. Eden can get on and off a sofa or a bed. She takes steps holding a hand or when placed in a walker. She does, however, walk on her toes. She uses orthopedic shoes that support her gait and correct her posture. She can sit on a large ball and bounce with adult help. She needs help to stand alone. She can grasp objects with her whole palm.
Eden responds to noise or conversation by turning in the direction of the sound. She makes eye contact and follows the movements of others. She plays with a toy for a few minutes, then throws it away. She has some auto aggression and at times will bang her head or bite her hand. When she is unwell, she expresses it by crying. She likes attention from an adult and shows it by reaching out and making eye contact. If she is left free to move around on the floor, she often goes to another child. When she is in a walker, she also tries to reach out to nearby children.
