Brian – Placed
*Brian was adopted 2 months ago from overseas. He just turned 6.
Brian is starting to show some amazing musical ability. He can listen to a song on the radio and then play the same beat on his drum set. He is also very athletic and loves to play any sport with a ball—especially “futball”! He also likes any activity that involves being outside. He loves to hike.
Brian is compassionate and caring to those in his family. He loves to give and receive affection. He takes pride in caring for the family dog—feeding and watering it and taking it outside.
Brian is a smart kiddo! He has picked up on English in such a short period of time that he no longer tries to speak his native language anymore. He starts kindergarten on September 1st, and prior to that he did not have much formalized schooling. He is highly visual and likes to learn through hands-on participation. He is able to pick something up quickly just by watching and trying. He is in the process of learning his alphabet, and is still learning his colors and numbers.
We cannot place a Second Chance (SC) child into a home that already has children within 2 yrs of the SC child’s age. We would also like for Brian to be the youngest child in his new adoptive family, so we are looking for a family with no other children in the home under age 9. Please write to us!
This is a private adoption, so a state or foster home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. Due to state laws, we are not able to place this child in CT, MA, NY, or DE.
Adoption is a legal process so there will be costs associated. This adoption qualifies for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
