Alan – Placed
*Alan was adopted 5 years ago from a European country. He is 7 years old.
Alan has a good sense of humor and likes to tell jokes. He can be very sweet and kind to others, and shows sympathy whenever he sees someone who is sad or sick. He is NOT a loner, he much prefers to be in other’s company. He loves to have books read to him and will sit close to you on the couch while you read to him. He likes to swim, do crafts and art, and really enjoys music. His current family has two children much older than him and he is missing out on having siblings close to his age; children he can bond with and have for playmates. We will consider families who do not have children within 2 years of his age of 7 (so no children 5-9). He is kind and sweet to younger children. His family has dogs and cats that he is sweet and kind to—he has never hurt them on purpose. He also has a collection of stuffed animals that he cuddles and babies and likes to carry around with him. Alan is friendly, has friends at school, and his teacher says that other children like him too! Alan is in the 2nd grade and gets mostly B’s.
Alan was born with profound hearing loss and has bilateral cochlear implants. He hears well with these implants.
