Tiny little Nikolina was born December of 2014 as a premature baby. She had many difficulties when she was first born and has had many struggles. Now Nikolina is said to enjoy adult’s company and shows an interest in the play of other children. She smiles and is very sweet and radiant. Nikolina reacts to speech but does not respond. She does however pronounce a few words and makes indefinite sounds. She can execute elementary commands. Currently she is in remission for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She also is diagnosed with cerebral palsy – spastic diplegia. She suffers from gastroesophageal reflux disease without esophagitis associated with poor food tolerance and physical development. The orphanage does offer Nikolina many kinds of therapy and the doctor is in constant contact with the staff as to what is best for her. She seems to have a great support team. Could she be your daughter?
