Meet Kyle who is said to be cute, smart, chatty and smiling. Kyle is considered healthy and was born January of 2009. Kyle lives in a foster home and his information was just updated June 7, 2021 and says the following: Kyle is in fifth grade and does very well at school. His favorite subject is Physical education and he says his most difficult subject is English. He can count to 20 in English, and knows several words, many animals and colors in English. Kyle likes to talk. In the beginning, he was a little bit shy but answered all my questions with complex sentences. He is able to retail stories. Kyle has very good vocabulary base and is able to lead a very good conversation both with children and adults.
Kyle has many friends at school and in the neighborhood. He gets along well with all of his classmates. He shared that playing soccer is his favorite thing to do in his spare time. He also likes to ride bikes and go for walks.
Kyle still shares a room with his older brother who is 19 and can no longer be adopted. Although if adopted Kyle will be separated from his brother, he still really wants to be adopted and have a better chance for development. He is aware that foster care is a temporary measure and really wants to feel the security of a forever family. If adopted, he would like to stay in touch with his brother. Kyle has chores in the house and does them well. He has mastered all hygiene habits and does not need to be reminded. He is totally able to complete all self-care and follows a regular routine. Kyle also likes to help the foster dad with different assignments in the garden. He also does some shopping in the small local minimarket in the neighborhood. The social worker concludes that Kyle has great potential for development and achievement and really needs to be part a family to preserve all of this, not to lose hope, like his brother who became the “victim” of the system and aged out.
