Description
The England Grant of $2500 may be available for qualifying families.
Ivan is new to our list of children. He was born February of 2020. He was born with a genetic anomaly and he has frequent seizures.
Ivan’s caretakers said that when they bathe him they need two people. Daily hygiene of the tracheostomy is required. Isaac is always lying down on his back or his side. He is positioned by an adult as he cannot rotate by himself. His hands are spastic – he cannot reach for toys. He cannot open his hands (the thumb was turned inward on both hands). He does have tickling sensitivity on his feet. When he felt the spikes of a ball on his feet, he tried to shrink from it as can be seen in the video.
Isaac will need total care by an adoptive family. It is unknown what his potential could be. Is there a family willing to try? For more information please contact kathy@wiaa.org.
