This big, brown-eyed boy is Ira. He was born April of 2022. He was born premature III degree (1300 g), with a complicated perinatal history and a pathological neonatal period. His file information from March of 2024 says the following: Ira has limited general motor skills due to spastic quadriparesis. His limbs have limited volume and range of motion. He straightens his head and holds it. He can turn his head in the direction of speech. He tracks moving objects and people with his eyes and his head turns. Ira is happy when he is in contact with familiar adults. He reacts with laughter when he is teased. He distinguishes between familiar and unfamiliar adults. He makes guttural sounds and sometimes coos. The child is completely dependent on the care of an adult. He is generally a calm and peaceful child.
