Description

Bobby is an 11-year-old boy adopted from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2015. He is not doing well in his home. His parents say they are unable to continue to provide him a home. He has not bonded with his parents. They say it feels like he is just a visitor in their home. The family has nine children counting Bobby. The children range in age from one to 12 years old. He needs a lot more attention than his parents have time to give him. His parents think he would thrive better in a home with fewer children.

Bobby loves nice clothes and getting his hair cut. He really likes working on his grandpa’s ranch and going to work with his dad. He likes to help cook. He enjoys playing with his Legos. He likes to play outside and with his siblings.

This is a private adoption, so a state or foster care home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. You will need a current, updated or new home study for this adoption.

If you haven’t started your home study, please contact us for information on how to begin one. However, if we have home study ready families for this child, we will consider them first. Therefore, if you are willing to take a child between the ages of 9 and 15, we suggest you begin the process as soon as possible.

Due to state laws, we are unable to place this child in CT, MA, NY, FL, DE or WI. If you live in Oregon, you may need to travel to the child’s state to finalize the adoption
