Meet our sweet Stefany. Stefany was born March of 2017 and is blind. Our attorney met her and said she believes this little girl has a lot of potential once she is home and living with a real family. At the center where she lives now they do not have any specialists that can work with her. Stefany is able to walk alone but very hesitantly. She walks much better holding onto someone’s hand. She babbles but does not yet produce meaningful words. She will react to her name being called if that person is someone she is familiar with. Stefany likes to be carried and hugged tightly especially when she is upset. She is spoon fed and does have quite a bit of difficulty with chewing and sometimes swallows bites of food whole. Stefany does not like the loud environment of the center and when others scream she becomes anxious and shakes. She really needs a family to adopt her and give her the peace she needs as well as therapy to develop her speech and motor skills as well as training her to eat correctly. Stefany is a special child who really needs a special family.
