*Paisley was adopted 2 years ago from a European country. She just turned 9 in December and is in the 2nd grade.
Paisley is a petite and cheerful child. You will see her sweet little smile about 90% of the time. She is very affectionate and loves to sit close to the people she cares about. She wears glasses for astigmatism. She plays kindly with others and loves animals. Music is her favorite thing: put a song on and she will sing and dance to it! She loves to swing, ice skate, and ride her bike outside—she is working hard on balance and hopes to take off her training wheels very soon! She has learned to knit at school and enjoys making things with yarn. She is helpful around the house and wants to learn how to cook.
Paisley is an easy-going, go-with-the-flow little girl who isn’t competitive with others and would fit well into a family who had children both older and younger than her. Second Chance is working with her first adopted family to find a new adoptive family for her who has no children between 7-11 years old. We may make an exception for a 1 year age difference if the family has had prior older child (over age 5) adoption experience before. Please let us know if that is your family! We feel that Paisley would do well with both older and/or younger siblings. If you feel that you can offer Paisley the Second Chance she needs, please write to us for more information at: [email protected]
This is a private adoption, so a state or foster home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. Due to state laws, we are not able to place this child in CT, MA, MO, NY or DE. Special note: if you live in FL and want to consider adopting this child, please let us know asap, as there are special considerations that need to be made for a child being adopted into FL.
Adoption is a legal process so there will be costs associated with this adoption.
