Description
Marty was adopted from a European country in 2015 at age five. As is common with adopted children being placed in a family who has biological children younger than the adopted child, there has been jealousy of the bio children.
Marty is in need of a new adoptive home. The family tells us that he is very intelligent. He likes science and learning new facts all the time. He does well in school and is at grade level. He does have an IEP.
Marty is interested in science, space, dinosaurs and lots of other facts. He loves art. He loves to play sports with other kids. And being outdoors. He has lots of energy. He has a quirky sense of humor. He really likes dogs.
This is a private adoption, so a state or foster care home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. You will need a current, updated or new home study for this adoption.
If you haven’t started your home study, please contact us for information on how to begin one. However, if we have home study ready families for this child, we will consider them first. Therefore, if you are willing to take a child between the ages of 9 and 15, we suggest you begin the process as soon as possible.
Due to state laws, we are unable to place this child in CT, MA, NY, FL, DE or WI. If you live in Oregon, you may need to travel to the child’s state to finalize the adoption
If you fit what we are looking for, please write to us and request his full information. radteenadopting@wiaa.org
