This adorable boy, with the big dimple, is 8 year old Landon adopted from Africa. Landon was 4 when he was originally adopted by a family who had one quiet daughter, and the presence of an active 4 year was not what they expected. So after 14 months, they did a private re-adoption for him to a new family 3 years ago. This new, current family has three 8-year olds as well as other older and younger children, and Landon is not adapting well to a large family especially with two other children his same age.
Landon is described as being polite, respectful and a hard worker. He needs a more appropriate home environment to thrive. His parents strongly emphasize that Landon does very well where there are no other children near his age and he doesn’t feel the need to compete for attention. He likes to go to his grandparents, where he is the only child. He once stayed there a month and everything went great because there was no competition for attention.
Landon is good in academics and reads at a level higher than his age. He loves to read, and is musical. He likes to ride his bike, however he does not like competitive sports. He is an quieter child and prefers staying home.
He likes a variety of foods and is not described as having food issues.

This is a private adoption, so a state or foster home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. Due to state laws, we are not able to place this child in CT, MA, NV, ND or DE.
Adoption is a legal process so costs for the adoption are costs for this adoption. This adoption qualifies for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit. Contact us at [email protected]
