Keegan was adopted from an Asian country less than a year ago. He just turned age 8.
Keegan is incredibly smart. His parents amaze us with stories of how he can do fairly complicated math quickly in his head. He knows a great deal about his medical condition and can explain it in minute detail, and he seems to have an incredible memory.
His school teacher said his handwriting is beautiful and perfect. His English is very good.
Keegan can go to a home where there is perhaps a younger child or two because he gets along well with children of all ages. We are hoping that Keegan will be adopted by parents who are younger, like under age 40 or so.
Keegan doesn’t have any problems with pets.
He is quiet and likes to play games. He is well liked in school and by friends. He is compliant and follows rules. He does everything extremely well,
We do not place a Second Chance child into a home that already has children within 2 years of the child’s age.
This is a private adoption, so a state or foster home study might not work. A private domestic or international home study is generally required. Due to state laws, we are not able to place this child in NY, CT, MA, or DE.
Adoption is a legal process so there are some costs for the adoption This adoption qualifies for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
