Description
Holly is a 12-year-old girl adopted from China with Chinese descent. She is 4’7” tall and weighs about 75 lbs. She has dark hair and dark eyes, with a beautiful smile. Holly was in the orphanage from near birth until she was adopted her at age 6 ½. She was loved by the care givers and was a helper to them. Her parents are seeking a long-term plan for her because of their advancing age.
Holly loves to laugh. She is generally a happy, easy going and sweet. She loves listening to music. She also likes to watch Bluey on TV. She entertains herself with her TONI device and loves listening to the characters. She loves school and being with teachers and friends. She loves to swing on the swing set and play in the yard. She is generally easy going and entertains herself well.
Upon medical investigation once in the United States, her parents learned that her Corpus Coliseum is very narrow and underdeveloped and that she likely had a stroke at birth. Mentally she is about three or four years old.
We know that adopting a child over the age of 9 could be difficult, but we feel confident that there are parents of all types out there who love kids and would love to add them to their families.
Adoption is a legal process so there will be costs associated with them. There are grants out there to help fund your adoption (please request that information.) This adoption may qualify for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
