Elise – Placed
*Elise just turned 9 and was adopted out of US foster care.
Elise tends to be very excited and happy most of the time. She loves physical activity and can be found doing cartwheels all over the place! She LOVES plants and is growing some cacti right now in pots. She’s growing cactus because she will (lovingly) pull all the leaves and flowers off any other type of plant! Elise seems to enjoy animals, but her adopted family does not have any due to allergies. Elise likes to read and is a very articulate child. She enjoys dancing (free-style) to music and likes to put on a choreographed show for you to watch—Kids Bop and Disney are her favorite! Elise is in the 3rd grade, gets along with her classmates and doesn’t have any problems doing grade-level work.
We are looking for a secondary adoptive family for Elise that has no other children under 11. We also feel that a family with a strong father figure (no-nonsense and structured) would be the best for this little gal. If you fit this and are interested in learning more about her and our adoption process, please write to us at [email protected] and ask for her “full profile”.
This is a private adoption, so a state or foster home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. Due to state laws, we are not able to place this child in CT, MA, NY or DE.
Adoption is a legal process so there are costs associated. This adoption qualifies for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
*not this child’s real name: we never use the child’s real name online to help protect his/her privacy!
