David – Placed
*David is 9 years old and was first adopted internationally.
David is creative and enjoys building things with Legos, blocks, army figurines, and sticks. He can turn what some consider ‘trash’ into something cool—his imagination is always working! He has a mechanical aptitude and enjoys figuring out how to make things work, or to work better. He can be playful, enjoying sports and other outdoor activities. He LOVES soccer. He doesn’t care much for household chores, but he likes to be needed and help when he knows it makes a big difference. Most people see him as charming, cute, happy, helpful, humorous, and compliant.
David is in the 3rd grade and recently transferred to public school from homeschool. His teacher says he’s social in school. David reads on grade level and especially enjoys historical fiction (he knows a LOT of history!). He enjoys pets and has never hurt one. He sleeps well at night and is dry.

David is very familiar with the Bible and many times talks about what scripture says about his behaviors and how to change them. Church attendance and learning from God’s word are important to him. If you are a mainstream Christian family with no other children under age 13, and you’d like to consider adopting David, please write back to us and ask for his additional info.
This is a private adoption, so a state or foster home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. Due to state laws, we are not able to place this child in NY, CT, MA, or DE.
Adoption is a legal process so there will be costs associated. This adoption qualifies for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
