Caleb is an adorable 6 year old who was adopted internationally one year ago. Caleb came from an orphanage with very little stimulation so his fine motor skills and coordination are still developing. We have lots of information for you, if you ask.
Caleb needs a new home because he is currently in a family with quite a few biological children all age grouped around his age, both parents who work, and he needs a lot more attention than his overworked parents are able to give him. We want a new home where there are no children under age 8 or 9, with one stay at home parent. A homeschooling family might be ideal for him.
He is in public school kindergarten and does not qualify for an IEP. He is an active little guy who has a normal IQ and is curious about everything. He likes to play outside, jump on the trampoline, sled with the others. He is not mean or angry. The only time he really seems to misbehave is in new situations. He needs extra guidance and help when a situation is new.
He has not been diagnosed with any emotional problems. His parents aren’t sure how much he is attaching to them, so an attachment therapist might be a good idea for him to bond with his new family.
All in all, Caleb is an adorable 6 year old who needs a family with time and attention to help him recover from orphanage neglect and care for some medical needs. Please email us back to see his files. Email to secondchan[email protected]
Due to some state laws, we are not able to place him in NY, CT, MA, NV, ND, or DE. If you would like to receive additional information on him, please contact us at [email protected]
This is a private adoption, so a state or foster home study may not work unless they would release it for a private adoption. A private domestic or international home study would be required. There are no ongoing monthly subsidies with this adoption.
Adoption is a legal process so there are costs for this adoption. This adoption fully qualifies for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
