Description
Meet Bradley!
He’s a 10-year-old boy that was adopted through foster care when he was younger. He is in need of a new home. Bradley has not attached to his family and has asked for a new home. We are looking for a traditional two parent home or single parent with strong support networks. Bradley has had a Christian upbringing and enjoys Sunday school and going to church. The family prefers a Christian family but is open to families of a different religion or non-religious, if they can be supportive of Bradley’s faith. Bradley would do best as an only child, but he could potentially do well with savvy or emotionally stable sibling(s). There is no preference with age, location or employment of the new adoptive parent(s).
Bradley is currently homeschooled and does well in school. He is a great reader, although it’s not his favorite thing to do. He loves cursive writing and art. Outside of his home, Bradley is described as a sweet boy and very kind to others. If someone is hurt, he is the first to step in to help. He has great social skills and is able to get along with both children and adults. His parents report he has the cutest laugh and an infectious smile. He absolutely loves playing outdoors. Two of his favorite things to do are play soccer or ride his bike. While inside, he likes to play with Legos, Meccano, perler beads and hot wheels cars. Bradley is in love with all types of food. He enjoys watching baking shows and baking together with his family.

This is a private adoption, so a state or foster care home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. You will need a current, updated or new home study for this adoption.
Due to state laws, we are unable to place this child in CT, MA, NY, or DE. If you live in WI, there are a few steps that have to be followed, but it is possible to adopt from there. If you live in OR, you may need to travel to the child’s state to finalize the adoption. We have made recent connections in FL that could potentially make it possible to place in that state. Please contact us for more information.
If we have home study ready families for this child, we will consider them first. Therefore, if you are willing to take a child between the ages of 9 and 15, we suggest you begin the process as soon as possible.
We know that adopting a child over the age of 9 could be difficult, but we feel confident that there are parents of all types out there who love kids and would love to add them to their families.
Adoption is a legal process so there will be costs associated with them. There are grants out there to help fund your adoption (please request that information.) This adoption may qualify for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
