Ariana – Placed
*Ariana is 8 years old and was adopted from an African country.
Ariana is a girly-girl who enjoys dressing up and jewelry. She likes to play with Barbies and board games like Candy Land. She likes to win, but isn’t a sore loser either! She loves to ride bikes and swing—and especially wants you to watch her and give positive feedback and praise! She is interested in starting soccer and basketball, and enjoys concrete/active games over things that require imagination.
In school, Ariana is in the 2nd grade. Ariana is safe and often shy around pets. She likes the family’s dogs and cats and has never hurt any of them.
She enjoys being with other people, and jumps right into social situations when outsiders are present such as at school or the YMCA where she goes swimming. She quickly joins in with other children whenever there is an activity going on. At school, she is friendly and has kids she calls her friends. Ariana has a lot of energy and enjoys being engaged in physical activities.
Ariana’s family has been teaching her about God’s love and plan for her life, and would like her secondary adoptive family to help her to grow her beginning faith. They would love this new family to be either Protestant Christian or Catholic (no LDS, Agnostic, or Jehovah’s Witness, please). We feel that Ariana would do best in a new adoptive family with no children under the age of 10. If your family fits this profile and you are interested in possibly adopting Ariana, please write back to us and ask for her full profile.
This is a private adoption, so a state or foster home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. Due to state laws, we are not able to place this child in CT, MA, NY or DE.
Adoption is a legal process so there will be costs associated. This adoption qualifies for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
