Cheerful Amanda was born April of 2014. Her diagnoses are postoperative lumbosacral meningocele and arthrogryposis multiplex. Her information is from August of 2018 and says the following: Amanda is considered to be active and lovely. She smiles a lot and enjoys talking to people. She is very well behaved and obedient. Her movement is limited to her upper extremities but she has no problem there. She can draw and pick up small things. She is studying in the orphanage at the Sunshine school. She is attached to her caregivers and has a close friend. Because of her post-operation, she cannot walk and is incontinent. She can speak simple words and some sentences. She can express herself and answer simple questions. Her speech ability is a bit lower than other kids of the same age. I think she would be a joy to any family!
