Abraham – Placed
*Abraham was adopted 5 years ago from an African country. He is 8 years old.
He loves physical activity like riding bikes, scootering, jumping on the trampoline and playing sport like soccer and football. Last summer he started to enjoy reading and now spends lots of his free time engrossed in a book. He will read anything and enjoy it. He especially likes Magic Treehouse books and Nancy Drew mysteries. When he’s quizzed, he has great recall about what he read—his reading comprehension is wonderful. He is currently reading above grade level.
School is another area that Abraham excels in. He gets A’s and B’s (his grading system is on a scale of 1-4, with 4 being the best—he gets all 3’s and 4’s). He will go into the 3rd grade this fall, and attends public school.
We have more information available about Abraham. Please email us back if you would like to see copies of this child’s additional records and learn more about Him. Email [email protected] and ask for his records.
We cannot place a SC child into a home that already has children within 2 yrs of the SC child’s age. For Abraham, this means no other children in the home between the ages of 6-10.
This is a private adoption, so a state or foster home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. Due to state laws, we are not able to place this child in CT, MA, or DE. If you live in FL, please let us know, as there may be additional costs.
Adoption is a legal process so there will be costs associated. This adoption qualifies for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
