Emery and Jack are incredible kids with unlimited potential. They are loving, considerate, respectful and fun. They come from an active LDS family, with lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. They are loved unconditionally, and currently being raised by an incredible Grandma.
Emery is 10, and currently in the 4rd grade. She loves school, and excels at creative projects spending her free time crafting, scrap booking, drawing, and baking. Emery works hard and likes to please. She is smart, but has required tutoring in reading and math to be in line with her grade level. Emery is social, loves singing and currently is involved with theater projects. She is considerate of other kids, has lots of friends and prefers to be in the company of others.
Jack is turning 8 and getting ready to be baptized. He is in the 3rd grade loves school and is on grade level. He has a great sense of humor and is incredibly independent. Jack enjoys time with friends, electronics, and Nintendo. Jack is very loving, and he has a competitive streak when it comes to sports. Jack has an incredibly close relationship with his older sister, but needs the guidance and example of a good father figure in his upbringing.
These children have had a loving relationship with Aunts, Uncles and a Grandmother who love them unconditionally. The ideal adoptive family should be comfortable with allowing Emery and Jack to maintain the strong bonds they have with their currently extended family while providing the guidance, example and love of a Mother and Father. Also, the adoptive family should share a similar background to what Emery and Jack have grown up with, specifically being active LDS and living in Utah along the Wasatch front.
