*Miranda is 9 years old and was adopted from an Asian country.
Miranda is very athletic and excels at all kind of sports, especially soccer. She likes to be outside and moving all the time: running, jumping, climbing trees, jumping on the trampoline, crossing the monkey bar, etc. She also likes to finger knit, crochet, and build things with Legos. She has taken piano lessons for several years, and also enjoys singing. Her adopted family says she is driven, strong-willed, and determined.
Miranda is in the 3rd grade. She is at grade level for science and history, but is still in 2nd grade for math, reading and writing. She loves to read about animals and comprehends well what she reads. She can tell you back, in her own words, what she has read. Miranda is lactose intolerant—she can occasionally use a lactose supplement to eat something special like ice cream. She can eat yogurt without these negative side effects.
She is sweet and affectionate toward the family’s pets.
We are partnering with Miranda’s family to find a new adoptive family who will continue to help her become a successful and healthy adult.
We feel that Miranda would do best in a new home where she is the youngest and will not have others to contend with for the attention she needs. We will consider families who have no children under age 14, and no other girls in the home. Please write to us at [email protected] if you feel you can offer Miranda the family she needs!
