Alice – Placed
*Alice was adopted from an African country and is 12 years old.
Alice is doing great in school! She is in the 6th grade in public school and keeps a 3.6 gpa. She is a solid, honor roll student and has no problems at all in school. All her teachers rave about how sweet and kind she is in class. She especially loves to read—whenever she has free time. She is reading higher than a 6th grade level. She’s currently into Michael Vay’s book series and likes all types of action fiction adventures.
Alice enjoys art, especially free-hand drawing. She is very good at drawing with pencils, markers and crayons. She likes all the girly things that pre-teen girls enjoy. She also likes basketball and gymnastics. She likes to play games, bake and sing in the school choir. She can be very friendly and outgoing. She loves one-on-one attention and talking. Alice is neat and prefers to keep her room that way.

This is a private adoption, so a state or foster home study might not work. A state authorized private domestic or international home study is generally required. Due to state laws, we are not able to place this child in CT, MA, MO, NY or DE.
Adoption is a legal process so there will be costs associated. This adoption qualifies for the IRS Adoption Tax Credit.
